Britney Spears wanting to splurge
Spears is mad over Maserati, which is well worth over $100,000! Unfortunately for Britney, she is on a $500 a month allowance, and she can't buy anything without a judge's approval. So I don't think Spears will be riding in a Maserati for a while.

Charlie Sheen Charged with Assault on Wife
Charlie Sheen was charged Monday with a felony menacing charge and two misdemeanors but the judge eased the terms of a restraining order so the actor may now return home with Brooke Mueller and their two young sons. The star of Two and a Half Men and Mueller both appeared in an Aspen, Colo., court for the hearing stemming from their Christmas Day fight that sent the actor to jail. "Charlie and Brooke kissed and hugged and looked pretty happy to get beyond this hurdle,” Mueller's lawyer Yale Galanter tells. "They are on their way home to Los Angeles together." "They finally got their restraining order lifted. They're finally able to communicate," adds Sheen's attorney, Richard Cummins. "You can imagine how hard it is to be married and not have any communication for some time. They're heading out to California so they can they work on their issues between them, and take care of their children and move forward with their lives."At the hearing, Sheen, 44, was formally charged with felony menacing and two misdemeanors: third-degree assault and criminal mischief. But the judge modified a retraining order so that the couple can now be together as long as Sheen refrains from drinking alcohol, possessing guns or harassing Mueller, 32. "Charlie is looking forward to going home and being with his children and with Brooke," says Mark Burg, Sheen's friend and Two and a Half Men producer who gave Sheen a place to live while the restraining order was in effect. "Hopefully this will all be behind him soon.” Mueller arrived in Aspen over the weekend after spending 10 days at the Two Dreams Outer Banks Drug and Alcohol Rehab Center where she “has become herself again”, her mother Moira FIore tells. "We will have to see what happens down the road,” Galanter says. "But for now we are glad to move on from the holiday issues. We will see where the next few weeks takes us."
Kendra Wilkinson: Why I Cried After the Super Bowl
It was an emotional scene after the Super Bowl: Kendra Wilkinson in tears as she rushed out of the stadium holding her baby son. But the reality star says she wasn't upset over the Indianapolis Colts' loss to the New Orleans Saints on Sunday in a game in which her husband Hank Baskett mishandled an on-side kick, leading to a Saints scoring drive. "I wasn't cryin cuz of the damn game it's cuz the paparazzi have no soul... they wouldn't leave me n family alone!!!!" she wrote on her Twitter page Monday. She added: "People like to twist this stuff... we asked them to stop cuz of the baby n they were way too close n they didn't care at allllllll."
Michael Jackson's Family Reacts with Outrage to Charge
Involuntary manslaughter wasn't a tough enough charge against Michael Jackson's doctor, his family said Monday. "He's a monster," said the pop singer's mother, Katherine Jackson, after a hearing for Dr. Conrad Murray. "This charge is a slap on the wrist," said Brian Oxman, longtime lawyer for Jackson's father Joseph. "There's great disappointment here. [Conrad Murray] should've been charged with a higher degree of responsibility. What he did was reckless. It was a disregard for human life." Murray, who has denied any wrongdoing, surrendered to face allegations of administering a lethal dose of the hospital anesthetic propofol to the late singer. “Michael was murdered and although he died at the hands of Dr. Conrad Murray, I believe Dr. Murray was a part of a much larger plan," said Jackson's sister, LaToya. "There are other individuals involved and I will not rest and I will continue to fight until all of the proper individuals are brought forth and justice is served."
Kelly Clarkson Wades Into Taylor Swift Controversy
Four days after what critics described as Taylor Swift's "pitch-challenged" performance at the Grammy Awards, Kelly Clarkson has weighed in on the controversy after Swift’s record label CEO criticized American Idol. In a blog post, Clarkson responded to recent comments by Big Machine Records’s Scott Borchetta, who told the Associated Press that the four-time Grammy winner "is the voice of this generation. She speaks directly to [her fans], and they speak directly back to her." He added, "This is not American Idol. This is not a competition of getting up and seeing who can sing the highest note. This is about a true artist and writer and communicator." In a letter addressed to Borchetta, Clarkson wrote that she understood why he would defend Swift – he said, "We had a volume problem in the ear ... She couldn't hear herself like she had in rehearsal" – but said she found it "upsetting" that he attacked the star-making TV show. "We not only hit the high notes, you forgot to mention we generally hit the 'right' notes as well," the American Idol winner wrote.
Jamie Lynn Spears Moves out – and Moves on with New Guy
Jamie Lynn Spears and boyfriend Casey Aldridge have split, according to sources close to the couple, and the former Nickelodeon star is now moving on in a new relationship with Hammond, La., businessman James Watson. "She's going through a lot of changes," says a Spears family friend. "It has been painful. She's a young mother and struggling in a lot of areas." Spears moved out of the Liberty, Miss., house she shared with Aldridge and their 19-month-old daughter, Maddie, about six weeks ago and is now living with her mother, Lynne, according to sources. The teenagers had planned to marry after Spears, then 16, became pregnant, gave birth to their daughter and set up house together. After a wreck last April that landed Aldridge in the ICU after he crashed his truck, a family source told reporters that Aldridge was "thinking a little more seriously about things." Still, a wedding never materialized. "She did a lot of growing up but he didn't," says a source. "I think she put up with more than she cared to put up with. She just got enough of it and was tired of the situation." Spears, 18, has recently begun dating Watson, 28, who owns a multimedia company close to Kentwood, La., according to a Spears family friend, who says, "he seems to be a nice guy." Watson would not comment on his relationship with Spears when he spoke to reporters. A rep for Spears has not commented on the status of their relationship nor her split from Aldridge.
Andrew Shue and Today’s Amy Robach Are Married
Former Melrose Place star Andrew Shue and Weekend Today anchor Amy Robach were married Saturday afternoon in New York City. "It was the most beautiful night in every way," Shue and Robach tell. "Despite snow, high winds, flight and train delays, every guest made it to the night to share our in our new beginning." The couple, who met last April at a book party and got engaged in September, exchanged vows at The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers, adjacent to the Hudson River. And it was an extra special occasion for Robach, who walked down the aisle on her 37th birthday. Shue’s mother, Anne Harms, officiated the ceremony, and the two wrote their own vows. Shue, 42, and Robach, 37, are recently divorced – and the wedding party consisted of Shue's three sons with ex-wife Jennifer Hageney and Robach's two daughters with her ex-husband, Tim McIntosh. "The wedding was absolutely beautiful," a Today show rep, who attended the ceremony, tells. "Amy and Andrew were beaming." As for the reception, the rep says, "The decor was simple and there were lots of candles. The guest list was fairly small. They wanted an intimate feel with close friends and family." Approximately 120 guests attended the ceremony, including Shue's actress sister Elisabeth and her husband Davis Guggenheim, director of 2006's An Inconvenient Truth, as well as Robach's NBC colleagues Meredith Vieira, Ann Curry, Kathie Lee Gifford, as well as CBS News' Rick Kaplan and MSNBC's Contessa Brewer.
Jen Aniston Celebrates Her 41st Birthday in Mexico – with Gerard Butler
She's certainly a creature of habit – and why change a good thing? Jennifer Aniston headed to one of her favorite getaway spots, Los Cabos, Mexico, where the actress is getting a jump start celebrating her 41st birthday – Aniston's big day is actually Feb. 11 – with a group of friends. But this year, she had a surprise birthday guest: Gerard Butler, her costar in the upcoming comedy, The Bounty Hunter. Last month, the two were spotted laughing and spending a lot of time together at the Golden Globes. Aniston flew a large group of pals including Butler, Courteney Cox, her husband David Arquette and Sheryl Crow, whose birthday is also Feb. 11, to the One & Only Palmilla resort Thursday evening where the group is staying in a beautiful waterfront villa. Friday, there was one thing on the agenda: fun in the sun! Aniston showed off her famously fabulous figure in a bikini as the pals lounged on the patio. – Pernilla Cedenheim and Jennifer Garcia
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie in Loving Mood at the Super Bowl
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie showed their love for New Orleans – and for each other – at the Super Bowl on Sunday, a historic and victorious night for one of their favorite cities. The couple, who've been dogged by rumors of marital discord, looked in great spirits, cheering the Saints on to victory at Sun Life Stadium in Miami, and stealing a kiss or two along the way. They also brought 8-year-old son Maddox to the big game. Pitt, 46, and Jolie, 34, have been heavily involved in rebuilding New Orleans since Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Pitt's Make It Right project, focusing on the ravaged Ninth Ward, has been lauded by architects, residents and community leaders as a pillar of the reconstruction efforts.
Lipstick Jungle Star Andrew McCarthy Detained in Ethiopia
Andrew McCarthy had a harrowing experience while on assignment for the travel magazine Afar recently, as he was escorted at gunpoint out of an historic underground church for intruding without documentation. On the second day of his visit, having already witnessed an exorcism at the famed Lalibela church, McCarthy, 47, was accosted by a guard. The star of NBC's Lipstick Jungle had bought a ticket to visit Lalibela, but had left it in his hotel. "His gun [was] pointed at my back," McCarthy writes. "I thought his reaction to my offense was extreme; I tried to say as much. He grunted something in Amharic and prodded me with the tip of his rifle." Outside the church, with help from some locals, he was soon freed, but the incident left him shaken. "I tried to breathe," he writes. The assignment for Afar, whose new issue goes on sale Tuesday, was one of a series in which the editors literally spin a globe and pick a destination at random for the reporter. The incident at Lalibela "was just the kind of thing that happens when you show up alone in a distant country without a plan," McCarthy writes.

Carrie Underwood’s Super Bowl Outfit: Touchdown or Fumble?
When Carrie Underwood hit the stage at last night’s Super Bowl to belt out the National Anthem, we were as focused on her wardrobe as her hitting the high notes. The newly-engaged star continued her streak of choosing all-white — hey, she has a wedding on her mind! — by pairing a Rock & Republic jacket with PRVCY Premium skinny white jeans and a matching platform pumps. While the blonde beauty certainly stood out, her totally color-coordinated outfit raised a few fashionistas’ eyebrows. We want to know what you think! Comment please!
